Thanks to everyone who came out to the last general meeting and happy hour last Friday. We hope to see you all at future events! Don't forget to apply to our various committees - it's a great opportunity to get more involved with iWiE and looks great on a resume.
We have several more events coming up in February. First, on Wednesday, February 15th, is the Vanguard Info Session. Vanguard is one of the largest and most respected mutual fund companies in the world, and want to come speak with us about both full time and internship opportunities. Snacks will be provided.
On Tuesday, February 21st, we have another info session with Northwestern Mutual. Northwestern Mutual is looking to recruit young, bright students who want to test drive their careers in the world of business through their Top Ten Internship program.
Lastly, on Wednesday, February 22nd, we will be having a Study Group Meet & Greet Social. After taking the survey sent out in emails, you will be paired up so you can coordinate with others in your class for homework and studying. Come get to know your classmates over snacks!
If you have any questions, please contact econ-iwie@illinois.edu. Also, just a friendly reminder that $10 dues will be collected at upcoming events. Now that we are a full-time RSO, dues will help us to provide snacks and plan other fun activities. At future events, members (those who have payed dues) will be given priority.
